Zhang Haijing, a 30-year-old painter, watches her daughter play at their home in Duchang county, Jiangxi province, ahead of Mother's Day. Zhang, whose legs were amputated after she accidentally fell from a sixth-floor balcony in 2008, started learning to paint the next year.
